Oh my goodness, that newborn smell. Parents, you know what I am talking about. The sweetest smell, but one must be careful as it can cause a fever… baby fever, that is.
The Cady Family hired me to document life at home with a newborn, so I spent the morning with them doing just that.
Eliza was born & a few days later I packed my camera & headed down to beautiful Charlottesville to meet her.
The wonderful thing about having an in-home newborn session is that it’s incredibly relaxed. There was barely a plan prior to my arrival as to what exactly we would be doing, but if one plans to go with the flow & enjoy themselves, then that is plan enough.
We moved from room to room letting real moments unfold while also playing around with some planned shots.
My drive to & from Charlottesville, Virginia was a beautiful one & well worth the distance. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
