Chesapeake, Virginia | Fall 2019
Megan first booked an in-home motherhood session to surprise her husband with the photos for Christmas. But, being that she is a lot like me, she couldn’t hold in the surprise for too long & before we knew it, we were reworking the whole idea & making it an outdoor family session. It was a welcoming change & an important one since I learned that this was their first photos together as a family.
To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about meeting at a field in the late morning hour, but it turned out to be the best decision. This light was so inspiring to me that I jotted down again & again the date, time, & location in my planner to always remember this. I plan on bringing my kids out here for photos, that is how motivated I am by this beautiful fall morning liiiiiight.
We spent the entire time tucked away in this one corner & that is all we needed. It was so perfect, we all ended on such a high knowing we got everything we needed & more.
