What to expect during your session with me
If you read nothing else on this page, know that all it takes to love your photos is to LOVE your experience taking them. Although I am an expert at what I do, this session is a collaboration and your part is the easy one! All you need to do is have FUN, go with the flow, let loose, and remember to slow down and be present. These are the days :)

I'm booked! Now, what should I wear?
Think comfort and wear something that reflects you and your personal style. There should be a focus on complementary tones, beautiful textures, and simplicity so that you can shine in your photographs. Textures such as cotton, denim, corduroy, silk and lace always photograph beautifully. This is your session so let your personal style radiate throughout. WEAR YOUR FAVORITE STUFF! Feeling great and confident will translate in your final photos.
Start with you. Choose your outfit first, then coordinate outfits for everyone else!
I love to create space for moments to happen naturally. I will guide you towards pretty light or an interesting spot & loosely pose everyone.I may ask you to "look at each other", "cuddle & close your eyes", etc. The reactions & the interactions are what I aim to capture. Don't ever worry about holding your pose. It's endearing when clients break the silence with laughter, silliness, & movement.
What happens at the session?
I like to let sessions end naturally once we all feel we got what we needed/wanted. With that said, most sessions will last around 1 hour - some ending a bit sooner. Newborn sessions are up to 2 hours.
How long will our session be?
You will receive sneak peek(s) within a day or two after our session. Your completed gallery will be delivered digitally via a beautiful gallery site with in 2 weeks. Your gallery site is also conveniently attached to several professional-grade print labs that are otherwise inaccessible to consumers. Printing your images through one of those labs is optional and not required in order to receive your digital downloads.
