Baby Clark arrived 7 weeks early. I was invited to photograph him & his beautiful family when he was finally home from the hospital, at 4 weeks old. Our time together was so chill, fun, & at times, super silly… enter 3 year old, Gracyn, lol. Even when she wasn’t interested in sitting still, kissing her brother, or doing whatever was asked of her, I secretly didn’t mind. Her spunk, spontaneity, & defiance only added to their story & photos. I welcome little rebels like her. Might as well since I have a little rebel like her at home. Dealing with a threenager is kind of my life right now.
The setting, my go-to, my favorite, their home. When clients contact me knowing what to expect because they already follow me on Instagram and/or have checked out my blog, they are already on the same page that I am pretty much going to document it all. The posed beautiful moments, & all of the in-betweens. I offer opportunities for sweet moments to occur, but it’s when things go “wrong” or unexpectedly different, those are the moments that I find so incredibly endearing. And my aim is that you do, too! That the different, unconventional, chaotic, messy, the struggles, the love, the kisses, the cuddles, are all things you care to have photographed as a keepsake, forever.
