Baby Eleanor
Bring on the dark and moody, naturally. Rainy and dreary day outside for my time with Eleanor. I mean, it literally looked like it was about to become nightfall even though it was morning. Yet I knew I could make it work. These sessions can be scary to work, but I have learned over time that they surprise the hell out of me. I feel comfortable. I find myself thoroughly enjoying shooting in lowlight, editing the images, and seeing it all come together so beautifully. This is their home on that day in their lives, honored and true, and I dig that so much. I don’t want to force people to show up looking perfect in a picture-perfect home. That’s not what I’m here for. I’m here to capture your essence, your day, your moment. I want you to feel free during that 1 to 2 hours you have with me and feel confident you’re going to get back something that is uniquely yours. Handcrafting each session with you in mind without comparing it to my last one or my last client. I don’t offer you something that wasn’t. I’m not saying to skip placing effort into what you’re going to wear and how you want your photos to look, because I truly believe you get what you put in. I just want you to know that neither you or I will compromise on what is true. This was Angela and Kevin’s home on this day, and this was their brand new baby, so itty bitty and precious, ON THIS DAY. Their joy and their love is felt here, and that is what I am here for.
This is what I do.
