Solo-parenting has it's obvious challenges. Bringing my kids to work is sometimes my reality when my husband is away. Childcare falling through last minute forces me to make the decision to either bring them to work or not make money - doesn't happen too often, but it does happen. Thank goodness my kids are a bit older because I am ready to be back 100%. ⁣⁣

The Surber’s make extraordinary efforts to truly connect with their lives. It’s as if they never lose touch with whats truly going on here: how we manage our time is what our life turns out to be. Coming from someone who is pretty damn terrible with time management, I can say that I become keenly aware and “awake” when I meet those who are conscious in all the right ways.⁣⁣

What a treat to go exploring with Clare and her family. I drove about an hour to meet them at the trailhead and then jumped in their vehicle for 30 minutes of true off-roading. We were literally driving over boulders and I may have bumped my head once or twice, but it was all worth it for the ADVENTURE. A real experience that we will not soon forget!
