Family Vacation
When there’s a call for an extended family session, that usually means that family is on vacation (hence why they’re all together in one spot) & that also means they’re more apt to have fun & do something different. The Lewey family went for my suggestion of a documentary session with some portraits sprinkled in towards the end. They invited me down to their gorgeous vacation rental right on the beach in Avon & I spent 3 hours documenting my heart away.
Starting off with ice cream before dinner set the tone for the remainder of the day. Their laidback fun demeanor lended so well to the storytelling, I couldn’t get enough. Here they are: Mom + Dad with their 3 grown children + their 7 grandsons.

Meet Mom + Dad, Barbara + Clark Lewey, founders of Toppling Goliath Brewing Co.
Clark gifted me one of their most popular beers, Pseudo Sue Pale Ale. Named after the awesome Sue the T.Rex! You can actually drink this beer while at the Field Museum visiting Sue in Chicago. How cool is that?! Read more about it here.
