Avon, North Carolina
I spent about 15 minutes on the beach with these two and it was absolute perfection.
Okay, full disclosure, I was in Avon photographing them and their family for over 3 hours for an extended family documentary session. So, Sam and Talia then hired me for a mini add-on engagement session that we completed right around 8 pm that same evening. By the time we were ready for their little session, we were super comfortable around each other. Consequently, they didn’t care about getting wet or asking where to place their hands. They just went for it and I am so in love with how it turned out. I delivered almost as many images as I would a regular session, and it was all because of how comfortable and willing all 3 of us were.
No time to waste. As a result, every photo I took was a keeper. My only suggestion to them as we started was that if a wave were to knock them over, to remember to enjoy it because I’m not going to stop taking photos.
